Dream of the Yugoslav ’80s
For some two decades now the 1980s have been a rich referential resource for culture-makers across ex-Yugoslavia (and globally, of course). It’s clear the “cultural virus of the 1980s” continues to afflict the region of former Yugoslavia. Why? What is it about the Yugoslav ’80s culture that is so worth reviving and that is so inspiring decades later?
